The Friends of Montclair

Montclair Township is a leafy suburb of New York City across the Hudson River in New Jersey.

It has its own University and the associated baseball field was the home of Yogi Berra, a famous baseball player.
There is a museum dedicated to him next to the field.
It has its own police and fire departments.
The fire station is of a rather unusual design.

Compared with Barnet, Montclair's architecture is of a rather grand design but the people are friendly.
Not all Montclair homes are quite this impressive

Halloween is always celebrated in style in the U.S.A. and Montclair is no exception!
Thanksgiving is also a very important holiday celebrated by everyone

And the countryside around Montclair is spectacular in 'The Fall'...
